Here’s a simple tip that I’d like to share with you that may be of great worth, especially for those who are new to Internet marketing. (This may seem obvious to old-timers, but maybe not.)
How would you like a library full of ideas, tips, strategies, best practices, methods, guidelines and all kinds of help on every topic imaginable related to Internet marketing … on demand and at your fingertips at no cost?
Sounds great doesn’t it? Here’s how you do it in three simple steps:
- Go to the Google home page and type in your desired subject in the search bar … then,
- Add a space after the subject then type “filetype:pdf” (no quotes). Then search on that string.
- That’s all there is to it. Scroll through the pdfs that you’ll find in the search results and pick and choose those that look helpful or interesting based on their titles and short descriptions.
Here’s the search string I’m suggesting using the example of “bee keeping” as your topic of interest: bee keeping filetype:pdf
The reason this strategy works so well is the fact that PDFs tend to be less advertising biased and more content oriented. Typically, they will carry more professional and less rehashed writing, and good content. Yes, you’ll still get a few ads but by and large these results will be educational and helpful materials. And there will be lots of material to choose from, regardless of the topic you search.
Here are a few examples of some topics that Internet Marketers might want to try:
public domain filetype:pdf
membership sites filetype:pdf
print ads filetype:pdf
press release filetype:pdf
how to sell filetype:pdf
email basics filetype:pdf
Well, you get the idea. Any subject can be previewed and the pdf downloaded for your study. Talk about a free education!
Don’t knock it ’til you try it.
